Overview

We are helping businesses innovate and leverage our global financial infrastructure, in a secure and compliant way across borders. Roma offers APIs that help businesses onboard their customers, simplify creation of fiat accounts and digital asset wallets, and support seamless payments.

Product Flow​

A typical Super Merchant integration follows this end-to-end flow:

  1. KYC / KYB — Onboard the end customer first. Submit individual customers via Submit Customer KYC, or business (corporate) customers via Submit Business KYB.
  2. Account & wallet assignment — Once KYC/KYB is complete, Roma self-assigns fiat accounts and digital asset wallet addresses to the customer. These accounts can be fetched via the Accounts API.
  3. Whitelisting — Before depositing funds, whitelist the customer's source IBAN or wallet address using Whitelist IBAN (fiat) or Whitelist Wallet (crypto).
  4. Credit funds — After whitelisting, funds sent from the whitelisted IBAN or wallet address are credited to the customer's account.
  5. Quote & execute — Once funds are credited, get a quote and execute the transaction:

Roma Customer KYC​

Via Roma KYC, merchants will be able to onboard your individual customers via API. We support KYC data submission via API or through our trusted KYC screening partners.

Roma Business KYB​

Via Roma KYB, merchants will be able to onboard their business (corporate) customers via API. KYB verifies the legal entity along with the natural persons who own or control it (its controllers) and any intermediary companies in its ownership chain. Roma Whitelisting​

Roma Whitelisting APIs empower merchants to whitelist their customer's Fiat account or Digital asset wallets prior to sending in deposits to their Roma accounts. This will ensure funds get deposited to the right customer seamlessly.

Roma Accounts API​

The Roma Accounts API simplifies the creation and management of multi-currency accounts, digital asset wallets and balances for your customers. You can use it to transfer funds across accounts. With the Roma Accounts API, you can embed multi-currency banking and digital asset wallet support into your product.
